Not necessarily. If your rotors are within specification (not warped, above minimum thickness), we can resurface them or use them as-is with new pads. However, if they're warped or worn close to minimum thickness, replacing them prevents future issues and ensures optimal braking performance.
Ceramic pads are quieter, produce less dust, and last longer but cost more. Semi-metallic pads provide better performance for heavy trucks and towing, work better in cold weather, but can be noisier. We recommend based on your vehicle and driving habits.
